Wireless Modules

Standard Wireless Modules & Custom Module Development

Seven module categories covering short-range, wide-area and biometric connectivity. Standard parts for evaluation and production, plus custom modules designed around your enclosure and firmware.

Selection

How the module decision is made

Most module problems are created before the part number is chosen. These four questions decide the rest.

01

Application and environment

Range, data rate, power source, enclosure material and operating temperature decide which radio is viable before any part is considered.

02

Interface and firmware model

Transparent transmission over UART is faster to integrate; an open-CPU module removes a processor but moves your application into the vendor SDK.

03

Antenna and mechanical fit

The antenna decision is coupled to the enclosure. Metal panels, batteries and speakers change performance in ways a dev board never shows.

04

Custom or standard

If a standard module meets the power, size and cost targets, use it. If not, integrating the SoC directly on your board is the alternative.

Standard supply

Evaluate, prototype, then order

Standard modules can be supplied in sample quantities for evaluation, with datasheets and pin definitions provided before purchase. Production quantities follow the module variant and your delivery schedule.

Custom development

When a standard part does not fit

If the standard module is too large, draws too much current, or does not match your antenna and enclosure, we design a custom module or integrate the SoC directly onto your product board — including RF layout and matching.
