OEM & ODM Manufacturing
Electronics Assembly
Cables, connectors and tested sub-assemblies, built to a documented process.
Overview
Between a finished board and a finished product there is a layer of assembly work that is easy to underestimate: wiring harnesses, connector crimping, antenna connection, sensor mounting and the sub-assembly that has to be tested before it goes into the enclosure.
We build these sub-assemblies to a documented process with defined crimp, torque and routing requirements, and we test them before they move to final assembly. A harness fault found at sub-assembly stage is a five-minute fix; the same fault found after the product is sealed is a teardown.
Where the customer supplies some components, we manage the incoming inspection and keep the traceability records with the finished unit.
Capabilities
What this covers
Harness and cable assembly
Crimping, soldering, heat-shrink and routing to a documented drawing with pull-test criteria.
Sub-assembly build
Board, sensor, antenna, display and mechanism combined and tested before final assembly.
Incoming inspection
Customer-supplied components inspected and recorded before they enter the build.
Traceability
Build records linked to the finished unit for warranty and field investigation.
