Product Development
Mobile App Development
Apps that provision, control and update the device — and stay maintainable after launch.
Overview
For most connected products the app is the product’s face. It is where the customer pairs the device, sets it up, updates it and sees whether it is working. A capable device behind a confusing app still reads as a bad product.
We build iOS and Android apps covering Bluetooth provisioning and control, Wi-Fi onboarding, account and device binding, OTA firmware update, event history and push notifications. Where the product also has a cloud platform, the app talks to the same API as the web dashboard.
We also plan for the parts that are easy to skip: what happens when the phone loses Bluetooth mid-operation, how a device is transferred to another user, how firmware versions are gated, and how the app behaves for a customer with poor connectivity.
Capabilities
What this covers
Provisioning and pairing
Bluetooth and Wi-Fi onboarding flows designed for devices without a display, including retry and recovery paths.
Device control
Real-time control, status display, schedules and user or role management depending on the product.
OTA update
Firmware update flows with progress reporting, resume and rollback handling.
Shared API with cloud
One backend contract for app and web dashboard, so behaviour stays consistent across platforms.
