Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions that come up before a first order or a development project. If yours is not covered, ask directly — we would rather answer it than have you assume.

Do you supply standard modules, custom modules, or both?

Both. Seven standard module categories are available for evaluation and production. Where a standard module does not meet the power, size, antenna or cost target, we design a custom module or integrate the SoC directly onto the product board.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Sample quantities are available for evaluation. Production MOQ depends on whether the item is a standard module or a custom design, and on the tooling involved. It is confirmed in the quotation rather than stated as a single number for every product.

Can you provide samples before an order?

Yes for standard modules. For custom designs, the first stage is usually a paid prototype phase, because a custom board or enclosure sample has real engineering and tooling cost behind it.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes. We can sign a mutual NDA before receiving drawings, firmware, BOMs or other confidential material. Tell us in your inquiry and we will send our standard agreement for review.

Can you manufacture a product we designed ourselves?

Yes. Send the production CAD, Gerbers, BOM and firmware. We review for manufacturability, identify missing information, then quote tooling and production. We do not require the design to have been developed by us.

How long does a development project take?

It depends on scope. A concept and requirements phase typically takes one to two weeks; a complete product from concept to production-ready prototype usually runs several months. The schedule is defined per project after the requirement is understood, not quoted as a fixed number upfront.

Do you handle certification?

We prepare products for radio, EMC and safety testing, run pre-compliance checks, and work with accredited laboratories. Certification scope, cost and the legal applicant depend on the destination market and on who owns the product brand. We confirm this in writing before the project starts.

Which markets do you ship to?

We work with customers in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, South America and Australia. Shipping terms and Incoterms are agreed per order.

Do you publish customer names or case studies?

Only with written customer approval, and many projects are under NDA. We will discuss relevant project experience directly rather than publishing anonymised claims that cannot be verified.

Is the fingerprint module capacitive or optical?

Our fingerprint category is round capacitive semiconductor sensing with a circular sensing area. We do not offer square optical modules under that category, and we do not use fingerprint images as product photography.

Still have a question?

Send it with the application context and we will answer it directly.
