Product Development
PCB Hardware Design
Schematic, layout and RF design for wireless products — including the parts that datasheets do not cover.
Overview
A wireless product is not a digital board with an antenna added at the end. RF layout, grounding, power integrity and EMC all interact, and problems in those areas appear as intermittent field failures rather than clean bench failures.
We capture the schematic, select components against availability and cost, lay out the board with controlled impedance where required, and treat the RF section as its own design problem: keep-out zones, ground stitching, antenna matching and shield can placement.
Before release we run a design review against manufacturing capability — minimum trace and spacing, annular ring, via-in-pad, panelisation and test point access — and we produce the fabrication and assembly files that the factory will actually use.
Capabilities
What this covers
Schematic and component selection
Circuit design with second-source and lifecycle considered, not just the first part that meets the datasheet.
Multi-layer layout
2 to 8 layer boards with controlled impedance, proper grounding and separation of noisy and sensitive domains.
RF and antenna design
Antenna keep-out, matching network, ground stitching and shield placement validated by measurement.
Manufacturing review
DFM and DFA checks, panelisation, test point access and complete fabrication and assembly outputs.
