Smart Lock Solutions
Bluetooth Smart Lock Development
BLE locks with app control, key sharing and offline access — no gateway required.
Overview
A Bluetooth lock is the simplest way to make a mechanical lock connected. There is no gateway to install and no subscription to run, because the phone is the network. The trade-off is that remote access requires someone with a phone nearby, or an optional gateway.
We implement the BLE stack, the security model and the app: pairing and binding, key sharing with time-limited permissions, unlock history, and offline access codes for guests who do not have the app.
Security is treated explicitly. Pairing is bound to the device, keys are stored in the platform keystore, and administrative operations require re-authentication. The protocol is documented so that a customer’s own app team can integrate if they prefer.
Capabilities
What this covers
BLE pairing and binding
Device binding to an account, with re-pairing and ownership transfer handled explicitly.
Key sharing
Time-limited and recurring access granted to family, guests or staff, revocable from the app.
Offline access codes
One-time or scheduled PIN codes for users who do not install the app.
Documented protocol
A written BLE protocol specification so your own team can build a branded app.
