Password Authentication Locks
Keypad locks with temporary codes, anti-peeping logic and a keypad that survives real use.
Overview
A keypad is the most universally understood lock interface: no app, no card, no enrolment. It is also the interface most exposed to wear, weather and casual observation.
We select the keypad technology against the product — capacitive touch behind glass for a sealed front panel, or tactile keys where feedback matters — and design the code logic around real usage: temporary codes, one-time codes, scheduled codes and an anti-peeping mode that accepts a randomised prefix and suffix.
Power and tamper behaviour are defined explicitly: wrong-code lockout, low-battery warning well before failure, and a mechanical key override that is not an afterthought.
Capabilities
What this covers
Keypad options
Capacitive touch behind glass, or tactile keys with defined travel and feedback.
Flexible code types
Permanent, temporary, one-time and scheduled codes, managed in the app or on the device.
Anti-peeping entry
Randomised prefix and suffix so an observed code does not reveal the real one.
Abuse handling
Wrong-code lockout, tamper alerts and a low-battery warning with adequate lead time.
